White Bird Clinic’s mobile crisis response program, Crisis Helping Out On The Streets (CAHOOTS) has gained national attention as a longstanding public-private partnership which delivers crisis and community health first response, resulting in minimized police interactions, jail diversion, reduced ambulance and hospital visits, and responsive, on-site human services support.
We are excited to be in a position to help support other communities in identifying what a successful mobile crisis response unity may look like in their area based on the needs of their residents.
For more information about White Bird’s consultation services, which can assist your community in developing a CAHOOTS model mobile crisis response unit or provide information about other programs at White Bird, please visit our Consulting Services page.

We enjoy sharing information and resources about our agency and table at local events when possible.
At White Bird, we follow a client-centered model and believe that each person deserves respect for his or her process. […]Read More ›
