Job Description:


  1. Maintain all Crisis program records, files and statistics, including data entry and generation of reports. Maintain team timecards.
  2. Maintain Special Transportation System grant requirements & continuation; this includes record keeping, reporting and liaison with Lane Transit District.
  3. Program correspondence to clients and agencies; maintain documentation w/r/t typing and form design. Creation of inter-agency invoices.
  4. Participate in program and clinic responsibilities, including crisis business meeting, AdCo, Program Coordinator meeting, Quality Management Meeting and Community. Organize and maintain weekly crisis business meeting.
  5. Track miscellaneous small grant expenditures and compliance with grant requirements.
  6. Respond to program correspondence and requests for client records accompanied by a valid release of information.


  1. Complete New Volunteer Training with option of Basic and Advanced Crisis Classes.
  2. Computer literate in word processing, Excel and data base applications.
  3. Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines.
  4. Successfully complete criminal background check with fingerprinting through State Mental Health Division process.
  5. Background in human services preferred.
  6. A sense of humor.

NOTE:  All positions at White Bird have at least a 3-month probationary period and reports to the Crisis Team and program coordinator.
